The all

be cleared of all shrubbery and foliage etc. |
| |

Laying of
sub base material. It is essential it is at least
100mm thick, void free, set to falls and is fully
compacted. |

Weed
suppressing fibre glass matting is then laid between
the sub base and the sharp sand laying course. |

Spreading
of sharp sand to a depth of 50mm, then compacted
with a plate vibrator then a further 15mm is loosely
screeded over the top. For drainage purposes a slope
needs to be created dropping 2mm over 1m across and
25mm over 2m length. |
